The NWS Heat Index sequence applies the Rothfusz regression when the average of the simple estimate and air temperature reaches 80°F. Wind Chill uses Celsius temperature T and km/h wind V at or below 10°C with wind above 3mph (about 4.8km/h); unsupported conditions remain an air-temperature reference.
